Derealizations I
Derealizations I was a series of 8 multimedia pieces for 19″ monitors and three projected works including an interactive piece. It explores feelings of derealization/dissociation and the seemingly involuntary behaviors/actions guiding you thru said states of being. All video was crafted using self-hacked 32-bit gaming systems.
All audio was concocted utilizing synthesis generator by the original devices and various sampled/field recordings. It is to be the first in a series of pieces under this unifying theme and medium.
